1. For this assignment we were to make a few
adverts print and TV about Persil washing up
liquid we first researched about Logos Persil
have used in there adverts in the past and what
there advert have been about in the past too
My print advert was about Persil washing up
liquid with a teddythat approves it and wants to
get washed by it instead of not wanting to this
makes it so this is a good washing up liquid and
it doesn’t give people the fear of washing is
non-existent in this washing up liquid. I used
emotional attachment to the teddy and there
mums emotional attachment to the children to
make people buy this product ad since it’s so
simple I makes it more effective in the terms of
sales
We used emotionalattachment to a small teddy
bear of a little girl and so that he mom will get
because the little girl approves they know they
wouldn’t mind it getting washed and going away
or a while
I was the editor what I did was when all the
clips were together I edited them all together
to make them below 30 sec and do the
transitions and scaling and all things related
to editing all the videos together I also did a
bit of camera work getting the camera to work
and making them the right scene for the shot
I think it would be better if we had a different
washing machine or even a mother daughter/son

2. thing but other than that I wouldn’t do I any
differently
The most common problem was student
absences because without them we couldn’t film
without them so we had to do other thing
related to the project instead of filming on
that day also had problems with casting crew
we didn’t have the required people to do the
advertisement we wanted so we had o organize
special days to do the filming also had
technical problems like the editing software
couldn’t handle the HD files
I learned how to edit a series of clips into a 30
second advertisement I also learned how to
operate a professional camera belonging to
the media industry I also learned how the media
industry works on these types of projects all
about how they target these things at the
different audiences and how they use different
techniques to attract different audience
demographics and how they use different
platforms to advertise their products
