“
”
My wife and I have been married since 2001 and
have two wonderful (on most days) girls. We have
lived in Boise and the Treasure Valley since 2010
and have totally fallen in love with the area. My
girls are very involved with 4H, zoo programs and
other city programs such as Rangers and Fencing.
While I did not personally serve, I come from a
military family, which is why our active duty and
veterans are so important to me. I earned the
Military Relocation Professional (MRP) designation
in 2016 so that I could better help our military
members accomplish the goal of owning a home.
A portion of proceeds from my sales with military
members goes to the Idaho Veterans Network, a
program helping our veterans with their financial
needs in times of desperation.
I thought it would be nice to get to know me
personally before we meet professionally to
discuss the sale of your home.
After 18 years in the insurance business, I
chose to get my real estate license not on a
whim, but rather to fulfil my original goal in
high school. I had the plan all laid out. I was
going to sell computers at Circuit City (did
that!), cars (didn’t do that) and then, when I
looked old enough, sell real estate.
If you haven’t noticed, I like sales. Not because
of the financial rewards, but because of the
opportunity to help people. I realize that
might sound like a cliché, but I realized early
on that a sales position was the front line of
customer service, and that’s where I wanted to
be! I have worked in marketing and
underwriting positions where I had very
limited exposure to the customer and those
were the positions I felt the least fulfilled.
This is also why you will see that my family and
giving back to the community are so important
to me.
FAMILY COMMUNITY
“In Less Than a Month We Had an
Agreement”
We tried to sell our home ourselves, but had
few responses. Steven Young prides
himself in his unsurpassed marketing
techniques, so we decided to give him a try.
In less than a month we had an agreement
underway!
THANK YOU!
Being a part of the community is important to
me and another way I have the opportunity to
help and engage with people. My family and I
are involved in organizations such as 4H, the
Susan G. Komen Walk for the Cure, the Idaho
Humane Society, and the Friends of Zoo Boise.
In 2015 we started our own charity, Bicycles
for Humanity, a non-profit organization that
collects bicycles locally and sends them to less
advantaged countries such as Ethiopia, Kenya
and Guatemala. Not only do these bicycles
provide a valuable means of transportation,
but also skills to open a bicycle business using
the container the bicycles were shipped in as a
store and the opportunity to earn income for
their families. You can learn more at b4h-
