Steve Koch joined the NTRA in 2015 as the Executive Director of the Safety & Integrity Alliance, the thoroughbred industry’s accreditation program for national uniform racetrack safety and integrity standards. The 23 Alliance accredited racetracks host 90% of graded stakes and 74% of wagering on thoroughbred races in the United States and Canada.
Steve previously served 12 years at Canada's Woodbine Racetrack, where he was Vice President of Racing from 2008 to 2015. As vice president he oversaw all aspects of the Thoroughbred racing product as well as the company’s Racing Surfaces, Grounds and Stables, and Fleet divisions.
