profile
I am a highly organized and detail-oriented individual, with successful experience in positions of increasing
responsibilities and duties. I am interested in pursuing advancement within the research industry to promote
knowledge and skills that I have acquired while in school as well as from previous job experiences. I am
extremely reliable and able to think analytically and multitask; effective in working under pressure with
minimal supervision. I render an impeccable job performance while complying with a company’s standard
operating procedures. I am professionally composed and organized with well-developed communication skills
demonstrated through extensive costumer service and working with people at all levels. I exemplify a solid
understanding of scientific and medical terminologies. I am proficient in many laboratory techniques,
extractions, operating, maintaining and fixing both liquid and gas chromatography.
summary of qualifications
- Familiar with techniques in biological sciences and in chemistry laboratories, such as executing
several tests to rapidly identify and characterize biological and/or other agents that causes
diseases.
- Able to set up methods and procedures to collect data and carry out experiments and studies; to
generate reports on scientific investigations, studies, and projects while considering the profit
and loss potential of research products.
- Ability to extract drugs from urine and blood with a high precision and accuracy level of results
Skilled in the interpretation of data to identify positive or negative results using gas and liquid
chromatography instruments.
- Equipped with the practice of making reagents, solvents and methods to carry out and create
new procedures for future experiments.
- Capable of planning and conducting experiments, and subsequently analyze data and produce
diagrammatic representation of results.
- Initiate collaboration with industry, research institutes, hospitals, and academia
- Capable of maintaining a proper chain of custody in accordance to samples and lab results as
well as abiding by SOP(Standard Operating Procedures)

education
Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences, Minor in Chemistry Concentration in Pre-Medical Biology
Georgia State University Atlanta, GA │Dean’s List │Date of Graduation: May 2012Relevant

Various Laboratory Work, Laboratory Coordination, Molecular and Cellular Biology
work chronology
RESEARCH Scientist and R & D | Tumor Immunology Lab Georgia State University, Atlanta GA Aug
2008- Dec 2011 ¤ First year - Radiation-induced enhancement of immunogenicity
Proved that sub-lethal tumor cell irradiation enhances killing of colorectal cells by tumor specific cytotoxic
T cells. Proved that irradiation of tumor cells resulted in the up-regulation of OX40L and 41BBL and that T
cells incubated with irradiated tumor cells improved CTL survival
Second Year - Radiation-induced enhancement of immunogenicity
Showed that sub-lethal doses of radiation can alter the phenotype of target tissue by modulating gene
expressions and making tumor cells more susceptible to T-cell mediated immune attacks.
Used colorectal carcinoma cells HT116 and SW620 and examined changes of 41BBL and OX40L in
response to histone decacetylases
Third Year- Adenovirus infection of lymphocytes and leukemia

Focused on the study of human tumor viruses that infect lymphocytes. Gained information on the
relationship between prenatal adenovirus infection of lymphocytes and childhood leukemia
I worked in a tumor immunology lab 3 days a week for a total of 12 hrs a week for 3 years. At the
end of each semester, I was required to make a report and presentation of my findings.
SERVER | Room Service Lounge Atlanta, GA February 2010- Dec 2014 ¤ I worked as a waitress at
Room Service Lounge 40 hours/ 5 days a week as a Head VIP waitress.
CASTLE MEDICAL | Forensic Scientist II ATLANTA, GA JULY 2014 – Present
Extracted pain medication and narcotics spanning over 25 different analytes from urine and blood using
LCMS and GCMS to develop a reliable and rapid method for the screening and quantitation of the drugs
tested.
Interpreted data using ABsciex machinery and Analyst software
Maintained and Repaired LCMS and GCMS instruments (changing filters, columns, peak tubing, pump
seals sonication to clean for contamination etc.
Made fresh calibrators for each load of samples as well as QC’c for positive controls and Hydrolysis
Made mobile phase, aqueous and organic washes for the LCMS instrument
• Used Robotic sample preparation machines such as Hamilton and Tecan to extract large
numbers of samples at a time
• Maintained and fixed Robotic machines when errors occurred
• Took care of bio hazardous waste
• Used solid phase extraction manifolds in addition with beta-glucuronidase to efficiently extract
analytes such as buprenorphines
• Certify negative and non-negative drug testing results according to the Laboratory’s Standard
Operating Procedure (SOP) Manual.
• Ensure that all test results reported by the laboratory are accurate and legally defensible.
• Describe the standard drug testing procedures from point of collection to positive certification
in a court of law.
• Interact with clients, medical review officers, call center representatives and sales staff in a
professional manner in order to address any questions
pertaining to the drug testing process.
• Interact with laboratory inspectors to demonstrate a detailed working knowledge of the lab
SOPS, QC practices, analytical procedures, test theory,
reporting procedures, corrective actions and applicable regulations pertaining to screening,
confirmation and specimen validity testing.
• Maintain a working knowledge of the accessioning procedures and protocols to ensure
proper specimen and chain of custody handling.
• Take proper remedial action in response to test systems being out of control limits or
detecting aberrant test or quality control results.
I worked 40 hrs/ 5 days a week
