A two-day international summit dedicated to fostering knowledge sharing on early
stage startup investment in Brazil and Latin America emerging markets and the
seasoned MIT/Boston startup ecosystem. This intense integrated event is an unique
opportunity for: 1) angel investors and seed funds to engage, develop cooperation and
foster co-investment opportunities across the region; 2) angels investors to exchange
and learn best practices and 3) entrepreneurs to learn more on how and when to raise
early stage finance and also network with investors.
Approximately 200 participants will discussing in thought-provoking panels, join hands-
on capacity-building workshops, listen to top-notch keynotes, and participate in pitch
competitions and a startup showcase. Several angel investors from all over the world
will join this event, which in first day celebrates Gávea Angels 10th Anniversary.

Objectives:
1- strengthen the identity and to improve the performance of groups of angel
investors, angel investors fund and individual angel investors;

2- promote cooperation between actors and investment organizations in the early
stages, including co-investment between different regions of Brazil and
variouscountries of Latin America, increasing their efficiency and effectiveness;

3- consolidate the integration of angel investment in early stage growth ecosystem of
startups by promoting an active dialogue among them and relevant stakeholders;
and

4- promoteand accelerate innovation in startups in areas such as energy and mobile
business applications, integrating angel investment to grants and other financing
offered by government institutions organizations.
