What is a Golf GPS Rangefinder?
A Golf GPS Rangefinder is just that, a GPS (Global Positioning System) Rangefinder used for golf.
It locates the golfer’s position on the golf course and provides distance measurements to target points on
the course in relation to the golfers’ position.
Example (Refer to illustration below): A user is positioned halfway down the fairway on the golf course. The
GPS rangefinder will use satellite signals to locate the user’s position on the course and display the
remaining distance to the green in relation to where the golfer is standing:
Front of the Green (F): 116 yards
Center of the Green (C): 135 yards
Back of the Green (B): 157 yards
