Miss Universe Organization
Beginning in January 2016, The Miss Universe Organization (MUO) and Smile Train, the world’s largest cleft
charity, have been involved in a charitable partnership to raise awareness about the issues faced by children
living with untreated clefts in the developing world. The relationship enables the reigning Miss Universe and
international and state titleholders to get involved with Smile Train’s global initiatives.
• 18 countries where MUO titleholders visited local programs
• In-person event support globally including BTIG Charity Day, Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day, and the St. Regis Atlanta
• Titleholder participation in Smile Train global campaigns for World Smile Day®, National Cleft and Craniofacial Awareness and
Prevention Month, Bullying Prevention Month, #GivingTuesday, and Season of Smiles
• Hundreds of forever smiles given globally
