4. INTRODUCTION
• Planning is essential not only in teaching, but
in spheres of human activities. To be effective
every intelligent individual plans out his work.
Lesson planning is an important part of
planning of daily teaching. These are the brief
outlines of the main point of the lesson. A
teacher has to prepare a more detailed, written
plan.

• “Outline of the important points of a lesson
arranged in the order in which they are to be
presented to students by the teacher.”

which are different from the lesson plan
• The teacher should not become over dependent
on the lesson plan.
