In February of 2012, Google began launching the Panda Update (bears), the first of many steps away from a link-based model of relevance to a user experience model of relevance. This bearish focus on relevance use algorithms to determine a positive user experience focused on click-through (does the user select the result), bounce rate (does the user take action once they arrive at the landing page) and conversion (does the landing page satisfy the user’s information need). Content and information design became the foundation for relevance. Sadly, no one at Google told the content strategists, user experience professionals and information architects about their new influence on search engine performance. In April of 2012, Google followed up with the Penguin update (birds), a direct assault on link building, a mainstay of traditional search engine optimization (SEO). The Penguin algorithm evaluates the context and quality of links pointing to a site. Website found to be “over optimized” with low quality links are removed from Google’s index. Matt Cutts, GOogle Webmaster and the public face of Google, summed this up best: “And so that’s the sort of thing where we try to make the web site, uh Google Bot smarter, we try to make our relevance more adaptive so that people don’t do SEO, we handle that...” Sadly, Google is short on detail about how they are handling SEO, what constitutes adaptive relevance and how user experience professionals, information architects and content strategists can contribute thought-processing biped wisdom to computational algorithmic adaptive relevance so that searchers find what they are looking for even when they do not know that that is. This presentation will provide a brief introduction to the inner workings of information retrieval, the foundation of all search engines, even Google. On this foundation, I will dive deep into the Bs of how to optimize Web sites for today’s search technology: Be focused, Be authoritative, Be contextual and Be engaging. Sentiment analysis involves the process of automatically detecting the polarity of a text and extracting the author's reviews on the subject, and finally, classifying the text. In many research approaches, the textual data classification is done using deep learning models. This is due to the ability of deep learning models to classify a text with a high accuracy and the ability to model the sequence of textual data with word dependencies throughout the sentence. One of these deep learning models is RNN (Recurrent Neural Network). In order to use these models, the textual data and words must be converted into numerical vectors, for which various algorithms and methods have been proposed [10]. Today's pretrained word embedding libraries such as FastText have a high accuracy and quality in vector representations for words. Accordingly, in most current systems and research approaches, these libraries are used to convert the textual data to numerical vectors

These concerns have prompted calls for comprehensive regulations to ensure the safe and equitable use of AI technologies. Artificial intelligence has also played a significant role in healthcare, particularly highlighted during the COVID-19 pandemic, where it was used in drug discovery, vaccine development, and analyzing the spread of the virus. The capabilities of AI in healthcare are vast, ranging from medical diagnostics to personalized medicine, demonstrating the technology's potential to revolutionize fields beyond just technical or consumer applications. In conclusion, AI continues to be a rapidly evolving field with significant implications for various aspects of society. The development from theoretical concepts to real-world applications illustrates both the potential benefits and the challenges that come with integrating advanced technologies into everyday life. (Newspaper comment) Everyone is creating and storing content, we are inundated with data and have become addicted to content.
From Enterprise Content Management to Health Records to Analytics to the Classifieds, there is a lot to make sense of and every day it grows exponentially.
And our delivery methods are more pervasive and some would say invasive.
The new challenge is making sense of it all, deriving true value, and delivering it to the end user, be it a researcher, a general web user, or law enforcement and military working in the field, context drives good decisions and semantics provides a piece of the solution.
In order to do that we have some challenges….Example of Context, both icons, both associated with virginity for different reasons, both famous, but could not be more different.
So why is Madonna so important in this example…From Bing to Google to enterprise software, applications are currently taking advantage of such rich data relationships.
Let me be clear, this is not always so simple…Jargon and nomenclature…”Sick”…//Ralph went to the nurse. Man that boy is sick. // Ralph did an awesome skate trick. Man that boy is sick
I like to say there are five check points for determining if your application is taking real advantage of semantics. These five points working in concert can bring your content and data to life through the richness of their relationships.
