Digital strategy roadmap is a blueprint for aligning business goals with your digital strategy. It shows how the company plans to embrace digital technologies to grow business and create better customer experience in the long term. Creating a digital strategy roadmap is not simply listing out key digital initiatives and giving them a tentative timeline. It follows an extensive research process which starts with Digital Review. It starts with uncovering consumer insights and market insights. One then develops Digital Strategy keeping in mind the digital goals and key initiatives in the short and long term. The third step in this process is Digital Planning which involves setting realistic time frame for implementing digital initiatives. The final steps involve setting KPIs for measuring the success of digital strategy. For far too long we've been forced to reuse layout patterns that have worked in the past, creating a web full of sites that all look the same. Narrow timelines, browser support restrictions and lack of a true grid system have led us to create work that is "good enough". I've spent years exploring how we can make the web a more unique space. With some of the newer CSS techniques available, we can start to make more creative designs. CSS Grid Layout is on the horizon and will play a major role in the design of our sites. Finally having a true, 2 dimensional grid will give our layouts much more flexibility and it is on us to explore the possibilities. This talk was presented at CSS Day 2016.

The world is recovering from the pandemic and adapting to new ways of life, both in changed habits and behaviours, but also new rules for businesses to navigate to continue to prosper. Necessity is the mother of invention. Times of crisis and recession have been, in retrospect, times of enormous opportunity and innovation, and times of growth for those who make the right decisions. Technologies and ways of working that might have seemed an interesting experiment in other times have become essential. In this report we look at three megatrends that are helping to define the recovery, each with smaller manifestations or sub-trends, with major implications for brands.

In health care, the promise of insight to be gained through analytics is dependent on ensuring the interactions between providers and patients are recorded accurately and completely. While traditional health care data is dependent on person-to-person contact, new technologies are emerging that change how health care is delivered and how health care data is captured, stored, accessed and used. Using health care as a lens through which to understand the emergence of big data, this presentation will ask the audience to think about data in old and new ways in order to gain insight about how to improve the quality of data, regardless of size.

The world is now considered to be a knowledge economy in which organizations’ sharing and creation of knowledge form an important role in integration and innovation. Knowledge creation is recognized as strategically important organizational learning and innovation tool. Knowledge can be created through a continuous dialogue process between tacit and explicit knowledge, as well as through four patterns, namely; interactions or socialization, combination, internalization and externalization. The research problem was based on the fact that knowledge can become obsolete, so it is imperative that knowledge creation and management is a continuous process enabling efficient and effective business practices.
