Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
2. Prepare the Roasted Asparagus:
- Place the trimmed asparagus spears on a baking sheet.
- Drizzle with olive oil, then season with salt and pepper. Toss to coat evenly.
- Roast in the preheated oven for about 10-15 minutes, or until the asparagus is
tender and slightly crispy on the edges. Remove from the oven and set aside.
3. Prepare the Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken:
- In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add olive oil. Once hot, add the minced
garlic and dried thyme. Sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper on both sides.
- Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-7 minutes per
side, or until cooked through and no longer pink in the center. Remove the chicken
from the skillet and set aside.
4. Prepare the Cream Sauce:
- Reduce the heat to medium and pour the heavy cream into the skillet. Stir in the
grated Parmesan cheese and continue stirring until the cheese is melted and the
sauce has thickened, about 2-3 minutes.
- Taste the sauce and adjust seasoning if necessary.
5. Serve:
- Place the cooked chicken breasts on serving plates.
- Spoon the creamy garlic Parmesan sauce over the chicken.
- Arrange the roasted asparagus on the side.
- Garnish with chopped fresh parsley.
