confused outcome of a 1713 treaty between the
Kingdom of Koch Bihar and the Mughal Empire. The

22. What am I talking about?
• One of the ancient most food of Magadh region.
• Played its own role in the history as the rebel
sepoys during the Mutiny of 1857, would carry it
as their staple food.
• Can be baked without any utensils, so the
mutineers virtually survived on it. They would
bake it on the metallic sieve deep inside the
jungles and ravines.

25. Identify X.
• A geographical indication (GI) is a name or sign used on certain
products which corresponds to a specific geographical location.
• In 2009, an application was submitted before the Geographical
Indication Registry seeking the GI tag for ‘X’ by a temple trust. They
claimed that the growing demand for ‘X’ had resulted in hawkers
preparing and selling the item at their own premises under the name
of 'X'.
• However locals argued that GIs are meant to benefit a community of
local producers and everyone from that place should have the right to
use GI on 'X', as long as their product geographically originates from
that place and has the same delicacy and features attributable to the
product that is prepared by the temple trust.
• Finally 'X' got GI tag which entitles only the temple trust to make or sell
