PROJECT TERRAFORM

  1. We are Project Terraform because we aim at making the Earth more liveable by eliminating wastes such as Fly-Ash, Bagasse-Ash, Quarry Dust and Industrial Sludge and using them constructively to make eco- friendly bricks!! We recently turned 1 year old! We have 5 plants at various locations across Maharashtra at present!! Pitch Deck PITCH DECK FOR PROJECT TERRAFORM V 1.0 PROJECT TERRAFORM
  2. FLY-ASH BRICKS: BAGASSE-ASH BRICKS: Primary Products: Plants producing and distributing these are being set up in regions of Maharashtra like Koradi and Khaparkheda, which consume substantial quantities of coal and hence generate a lot of fly ash. Plants producing and distributing these are being set up in regions of Maharashtra like Kolhapur, Pune, Satara, Sangli and Solapur, which are some of the largest producers of sugar and hence generate substantial amounts of bagasse. Plants producing and distributing these are being set up in industrial cities like Mumbai, that produce large volumes of Industrial sludge. 4. Machinery Used In The Making: Sr.No. Particulars 1. Skip Hoist Including Feed Hopper (To feed the elements of the composite to the mixers) 2. U-Shaped Mixer/Double-Shaft Mixer/Counter-Current Mixer (To mix the elements of the composite) 3. Press Feed Hopper & Rotary Table Press (To compress the composite into bricks) 8. Electric Oven (capacity 500 Kg) (To bake the compressed bricks) 4. Conveyer Belt (To transport the unfinished bricks to the oven and the finished ones to the transfer cars) 6. Transfer Cars (To stack bricks, and move them to the curing chamber) 7. Curing Chamber/Autoclave (To provide the bricks with a controlled curing environment for the first 24-hours) 9. Pollution Control Equipment (To check for pollution) 10. Weighing Balance & Testing Equipment (To check for uniformity in the bricks of a single batch) 11. Transportation Truck (To transport our bricks to the testing lab & then the customers) Avg. Price of Conventional Brick Price of a Terraform Brick INR 8 INR 3 (Industrial Sludge) INR 8 INR 4 (Fly-Ash) INR 8 INR 3.5 (Bagasse-Ash) Price Structure Comparison: PITCH DECK FOR PROJECT TERRAFORM V 1.0
  5. Tests Our Bricks Have Survived Every batch of Terraform bricks dispatched to our customers, passes the criteriation set by the follwing series of tests: PITCH DECK FOR PROJECT TERRAFORM V 1.0 In this test, bricks are weighed in a dry condition and then immersed in fresh water for 24 hours. After 24 hours of immersion they are taken out and weighed in the wet condition. The difference between weights is the water absorbed by brick. The percentage of water absorption is then calculated. A good quality Terraform brick doesn't absorb water more than 20% of its own weight. WATER ABSORPTION TEST: In this test, 5 specimens of Terraform bricks are taken to a laboratory for testing and tested one by one. In this test, a specimen brick is put on a crushing machine and pressure is applied on it till it breaks. The ultimate pressure at which the brick is crushed is taken into account. After all five specimen bricks are tested, the average result is taken as the brick's compressive/crushing strength. COMPRESSIVE STRENGTH TEST: PRIMARY TESTS [IS:3495 (PART 2)]:
  6. PITCH DECK FOR PROJECT TERRAFORM V 1.0 SECONDARY TESTS: In this test, two bricks are held by both hands and struck with one another. If the bricks give a clear metallic ringing sound and don't break then they are good quality Terraform bricks. SOUND TEST: In this test, a scratch is made on a brick's surface with a hard object. If it doesn't leave any impression on the brick then it is a good quality Terraform brick. HARDNESS TEST: MISCELLANEOUS TEST: In this test, a randomly collected set of 20 Terraform bricks from a single batch is stacked in a lengthwise, widthwise and heightwise manner and then measured to know the variation of sizes as per the standards. The bricks are closely viewed to check if their edges are sharp, straight and uniform in shape. A good quality Terraform brick should have a bright and a uniform color. UNFORMITY TEST:
