b. Materials for the walls
As a result of the reinforced concrete frame structure, so all the walls are non load-bearing walls.
Wall materials: use of lightweight partition walls, 150mm thick and light steel keel fiber cement
board or gypsum wall pressure can be used. 150mm thin stone can be used on external walls of
concrete block or cement blocks or local commonly used cutted stone.
Infill material: brick for internal walls 150mm thick plastered both sides. But for external wall
infill is either concrete block 150 mm plastered both sides or dressed stone 150mm thick plastered
on internal surface.
c. Water-proof design
The roof water-proof level is level 2. The water-proof material adopts the combination of one
layer of SBS modified bitumen water-proof coiled material and one layer of SBS modified bitumen
coating. The coiled material is 4mm thick and the coating is 3mm.
The floor of toilet and clean room adopts 2 thick polymer cement water-proof coating.
d. Door and Window Design on External Wall
The external window adopts Aluminum ordinary single-layer glass window. Safe glass is adopted for

network with putting the water tank on the roof for Increasing pressure on water supplies.
The water supply pressure is no less than 0.2MPa. The water supply pipe material adopts
steel plastic composite pipe.
1.2 Water drainage system: sewage water and waste water of this building are discharged
together. The drainage vertical pipe adopts hard polyethylene inner spiral PVC-U pipe. The
domestic drainage water is discharged into the municipal water drainage pipeline network
through the central processing made by septic tank.
1.3 Rain water system: rain water is collected and drained through organized system. The rain
water on the roof is discharged to the water gutter and then drained to water collecting
tank( 60 m3), and after settling for greening buildings sanitary use.
1.4 Fire fighting system: The fire hydrant system is set for indoor rooms and fire hydrant box
adopts local common practice of fire hose. The fire-fighting water source shall be provided
uniformly by fire-fighting pump room inside the campus.

mechanical air exhausting (air exhausting fan). Mechanical air exhausting is adopted in
asphalt composite material laboratory practical training room, asphalt laboratory
practical training room and microorganism and parasite inspection technology room.
The fan is arranged on the ceiling.
1.2.2 Insulation: To place aluminum foil for insulation to the under of roof tiles for the hot
areas building. In addition, to put dormer windows(with hopper windows) on the
sloping roof in order to increase ventilation in the roof layer to achieve the purpose of
insulation.
