2. Brijmohan Agrawal, born on 1 May 1959, is a cabinet
minister in the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP), ministry
of Chhattisgarh, India. He held the position of
education minister of Chhattisgarh.
4. He is the Member Director of Jaycees, an Indian politician
and member of the BJP, and is a cabinet minister for
education in the Chhattisgarh state.
5. He also heads the ministries of Legislative Affairs, School
Education, Endowment, and Culture, other than Public
Works and the Tourism Departments.
6. He held the position of education minister of
Chhattisgarh. Until 2013, he was the minister of Public
Works Department, Endowment, School Education,
Culture, Tourism Departments and Legislative Affairs
until 2013.
7. Since 2013 reshuffle, he has served as the position of
Agriculture Minister, Fish Rearing, Water Resources and
Animal Husbandry.
8. At his early stage itself, he became an M.L.A. and was
also intricately involved in his party in diverse important
positions.
9. As a young leader, he made a number of innovations in
the respective fields. Since 1990, he was a successful
M.L.A. from the Raipur seat.
10. As they are the future of country, they must know
how the country is running its political system.
11. Before the bifurcation of the state into 2 states namely
Chhattisgarh and Madhya Pradesh, he was also the
minister of M.P government.
12. Since from the childhood he had a desire of becoming an
advocate in his student life, he did L.L.B from Durga
Mahavidyalaya in Raipur.
13. He married Smt. Sarita Agrawal and they have 3
children: Abhishek, Shubhkriti and Aditya.
14. He joined ABVP, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad in
1977 which made his entry in student politics. Then, he
became keenly involved and held major positions in
students’ politics.
