3. What is preparation?
The word “preparation”
means that it is the activity or
process of making something
ready or of becoming ready for
something.

that we should learn to render a
successful manicure/pedicure?
To render a successful
manicure/pedicure, RULES OF
SANITATION must be
followed.

manicurist/pedicurist you must
see to it that the table and your
hands are readily clean .
2. Containers, bowl instruments
and materials must be in perfect
order.

6. 3. Always clean the table after
completion of manicure. This will
make the manicure more pleasing
to the patron or will put her in a
more receptive mood for your
advice or suggestion.

with disinfectant.

-it is where you can place your
manicure/pedicure materials to keep it
sanitized

-it is used to hold the liquid
polishes in place

should always be clean and neat.
Do not use it for articles. Instead,
use the plastic bag for waste
materials.

and orangewood sticks in a jar
sanitizer containing cotton wet
with alcohol.

the manicurist in the order to be
used.

to the right of the manicurist.

the table with scotch tape, on
