Mission: To provide the people of the Sud department of Haiti with environmentally
sustainable houses
Vision: To transform the Sud department of Haiti into a self
sufficient and resilient community.
4. Objectives
1. To provide immediate housing relief to the citizens of the Sud Department.
2. To make the local population aware of the importance of climate resilient
permanent housing and to train them in the construction of said houses.
3. To pay special attention to the role of women through vocational training to ensure
their incorporation in the planning and construction process.

11. Expected Outcomes
• Short term: to provide immediate relief to those left homeless by Hurricane
Matthew
• Medium term: to achieve is building as many climate resilient houses as is
financially feasible, while simultaneously educating the local population on how to
construct resilient housing in the present and future
• Long term: to create an environment where the Haitian people in the Sud
Department have the knowledge and capacity to build affordable climate resilient
housing without reliance on external sources
