Sister Janis delivers a message about death and going home to be with the Lord. She discusses that while we feel sorrow at the loss of loved ones, death is precious in God's sight. She provides comfort that there is hope in the resurrection, when we will receive new, eternal bodies and be forever with the Lord with no more tears. Prophetess Barbara and Prophet Ronald affirm that it was a timely message offering encouragement during the holiday season when many experience loss.

Founder of Beyond the Veil Prophetic Ministries
Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
We are pleased to announce the writings of Sister Janis to you on the subject of “Going
Home To Be With the Lord.”
Throughout the years of our lives, we all face the loss of a loved one, and we all have
sorrow and grief. Many in the Body of Christ have suffered a loss of a loved one while you
are reading these pages. It is our prayer that you will receive HOPE and encouragement
during this time, and that you will be comforted by the Holy Spirit as Sister Janis shares that
there is coming a time when you will have “No More Tears.”

11. Opening Prayer
Father God we humbly come before You this morning, to ask your blessings on this
program. Father God, You said Your Word will not return void but it will accomplish that
what You please, and it will prosper where You will send it.
I ask Father God, if there would be a lost soul, or someone that do not know You-- that
Your grace, and Your mercy, and Your forgiveness will be revealed to those out there that
are listening to this program today. I pray that You will touch their hearts, Father God. Your
Word says that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. We thank
You in advance, Jesus, for that soul that will come to know and accept You this day. Amen.

12. Going Home To Be With The Lord
I want to speak today on the subject that is rarely talked about, but it affects us all at one
time, or another. It is the subject of death of “Going Home to Be With the Lord.”
Sometimes, we look at death in the natural and we do not understand why good people are
taken away, but the Word of God says, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His
saints.”
Sister Sharon, I like to look up words and find the meanings of words and the word precious
means: very valuable.
Valuable means: costly, great importance, worthy, and it means to posses qualities which
are useful and esteemed.
The word esteemed kind of sounds like the word, redeemed. Amen! When you invite
Jesus into your heart, and you become a child of the King, you are redeemed. Hallelujah!
12 | P a g e
13. If you are redeemed you are one of His saints. The Word says, “Precious in the sight of the
Lord” as you are one of His saints. In our carnal minds, we cannot comprehend death as we
get in the flesh and we tend to see things through our eyes, instead of seeing things
through God’s eyes. We feel sorrow, grief, pain. However, God said in Isaiah 55:8 “My
thoughts are not your thoughts; neither is your ways My Ways.”
In 1 Cor. 13:13, the Word says, “For now we see through a glass darkly but then face to
face. Now, I know in part but then shall I know as also I am known.”

14. That Glorious Morning
The Lord knows the end from the beginning while we see just a short part of the now. He
knows the plans while we grasp for Wisdom. When death comes to our loved ones we
know that they are going to a better place and they are going to be with the Lord, we still
feel sorrow and grief and pain, as that is only human.
All through the Word of God we learn that we are not suppose to grief over the dead as we
are suppose to rejoice at death, and grieve at birth.
In Genesis 3:19, “In the sweat of thy face shall you eat bread unto you return to the
ground for out of it was thou taken, for you came out of dust and there you shall return.”
Ecclesiastics 3:1-2, “To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under
heaven. A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to pluck up that
which is planted.”
14 | P a g e
15. When we think about planting, we put into the ground. For example, when we plant a
garden we plant and we wait for something beautiful to come up.
When we talk about planting our loved ones, concerning our loved one, we do not pluck
them back up. “You know what Brother Flowers?” On that glorious resurrection morning,
the Bible says that “The dead in Christ shall arise” and God will pluck them up and bring
them on to be with Him, and so shall we ever be.
1 Thess. 4:15-18 says, “For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which
are alive [and] remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are
asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the
archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we
which are alive [and] remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet
the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another
with these words.”
15 | P a g e
16. I look forward to that glorious morning, when we are caught up to be with the Lord. We
have troubles and trails, down here, and God sees every tear that falls, I really believe that.
There is going to come a time when the Lord comes back we are going to forever be with
the Lord, and all our tears are going to be gone as we will have “No More Tears.”
2 Corinthians 5:1, says, “For we know that if our earthly house of [this] tabernacle were
dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the
heavens.”
Sister Barbara, our physical bodies will not last forever. Praise God! As we grow older this
body falls apart as we do not see as well as we used to see; when we get older, and we do
not hear as well as we used to hear but Jesus will give us a glorified body, and that body will
be forever, and forever. We do not die we just move out of this house of flesh, but into an
eternal body in the heavens. I do not know if you all have heard of the name, Mrs. Dottie
Rambo, or not but she wrote a song called the “Holy Hills of Heaven.” The song speaks
about this house of flesh is but a prison and bars of bones hold my soul. The doors of clay
will burst wide open when the angels set my spirit free.
16 | P a g e
17. I look forward to that day because our earthly physical bodies, like I said, we have pain,
sorrow. A lot of times we do not understand but when we get to be with Jesus we will
understand it all, but for now when we are, here on earth sometimes and it does feel like
our physical bodies is just a prison that holds our soul. Our physical bodies are going to
decay but our physical bodies are not who we are anyway! Amen! Our soul is who we are.
2 Corinthians 5:6-8 says, “Therefore [we are] always confident, knowing that, whilst we
are at home in the body, we are absent from the Lord: (For we walk by faith, not by sight:)
We are confident, [I say], and willing rather to be absent from the body, and to be present
with the Lord.”

18. Outstretched Arms of Jesus
You know we all would like to be with the Lord, but the Lord has a work for us to do while
we are here on earth. I want to do the very best that I can for our Lord because He bled
and died for me. I believe that if I had been the only one on the earth that He Loved me
enough He would have stretched out His arms and died for me.
My mind, when I kneel and pray I can hear Jesus say, “Janis I am doing this for you”. I
praise Him, so, so much for that. Psalm 16:8 says, “You have delivered my soul from
death, my eyes from tears, and my feet from falling.”
As well, Psalm 49:15 says, “God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave where
He shall receive me. Selah.”
18 | P a g e
19. No More Tears
Isaiah 57:1 says, “The righteous perish and no man lay it to heart and merciful men are
taken away.”
Considering the righteous are taken away from the evil to come, we do not know what lies
ahead but our Heavenly Father does and His Word promises to give us peace that passes all
understanding.
Hebrews 9:27 says, “It is appointed unto men once to die but after this the judgment.”
Believers do not have to fear death or the grave because Jesus holds the keys to both. Oh
death where is your sting? Oh death where is your victory?
Death is not intended for believers it is just a brief parting until we meet again.
When we place our life in His hands, He restores us now and resurrects later to an eternal
peaceful relationship with Him.
19 | P a g e
20. Rev. 21:4 says, “God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes and there shall be no more
death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any pain for the former things are
passed away.”
Again, “Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of His saints.”

21. My Sister Is With Jesus
As I said earlier, we do not understand everything right now. Brother Flowers, one of the
reasons that God had me deliver the message this morning is that this morning is the
anniversary of the second year that I have lost my sister.
She was called, and I did not lose her as she went on to a better place as the Lord called her
home, Dec. 28, 2008.
Actually, I was working on another message that I was going to deliver this morning and I
began to pray and I did not even realize what day that my first thing on here would be, and
when I realized that I said, “Wow! You know!”
The Lord spoke to me and said, “I want you to deliver this message.” I said, “Lord? I do not
understand.” I am just beginning to understand, and the Lord knows what He is doing. He
is Almighty and all-powerful and I will understand everything in time, and I know this is
short.
21 | P a g e
22. However, this is what I feel like the Lord gave me and I hope someone got something out of
this. Please keep me in prayer. God bless you!

23. Comments by Prophetess Barbara & Prophet Ronald
Prophetess Barbara:
God bless you! I think this was a very timely message because this is the time of year
where many have lost loved ones. It is a painful time of the year because so many
memories are connected to the Holidays. Time spent with family members, such as those
that we love, as I too suffered a loss six years ago and my husband passed away of a
massive stroke unexpectantly. It is comforting to know that we will see our loved ones
again. It was an awesome message, and thank you for sharing that.
Prophet Ronald Flowers:
Praise God! We thank God for all that is said today. It is a powerful message, amen. We
have this HOPE that God will come for us, and comfort us, in the lost of our loved ones. We
also have a HOPE that we pass from death unto life. Death is a new starting point, amen.
We are believers and we go from here, to the presence of God, which is wonderful.
23 | P a g e
24. I do not know about you but I strive to be in the presence of God, and how much of a
blessing that will be that when I leave this place I will go directly into the presence of God.
Very powerful message, amen.
Sister Janis, sometimes people continue to be sad even believers, and they continue to be
sad that there is no HOPE, “What would you say unto them?”
24 | P a g e
25. There Is HOPE
Sister Janis:
I would say, Brother Flowers, there is HOPE. We often get into the flesh and it is almost like
we are in these fleshly bodies we are going to have thoughts like that and there is HOPE in
Jesus Christ in what He did at the Cross in the finished works.
When He said, “It is finished” on the cross He defeated death, hell, and the grave. As hard
as it may be when we lose someone close like that, if we could just see the Way Jesus sees
and He sees that they are happy and much better off.
The HOPE if we do here on earth what we are supposed to do and live the way we are
supposed to live –and stay true to Jesus, we will be with them forever and there will be no
more parting again.
That is the HOPE that we have as our HOPE is in Jesus and staying true to His calling and
doing what we know we are suppose to do.
25 | P a g e
26. Prophet Ronald:
Praise God! That was excellent. While you were talking I was thinking that two of the
people that called me to be where I am at today, my grandmother and an old preacher that
took time to deal with this young, wild preacher, in my very early days—my grandmother
was praying for me. I lost them, and when I lost them, it was very, very, difficult. I had that
HOPE knowing that God was comforting me because this was teaching me that the grave is
not the end, and it does not stop there.
Many believers, or some believers, think that the grave is the last place and it stops there.
However, there is eternal HOPE. Death is just the beginning of eternal Life. We start
eternal life here but we go pass death. Paul said, it was amazing and I do not want to get
preaching and I have to watch myself, “I am perplexed to stay here which is good for you,
or to be with Christ.” Amen. Wow! Praise God!
26 | P a g e
27. We thank God for such a powerful message. I cannot think about any questions, as it was a
message of encouragement, and a message of strength knowing that God is going to take
us home.
What a blessing! You did a great job Sister Janis!
