Here we have pain points of CMOs, top four out of the top six can be addressed by technology. Key Message: CMOs have TRANSFORMATION on their PRIORITY LIST.According to the CMO Council, over 60% of CMOs interviewed through the 2010 Marketing Outlook Report have “transformation” as a top issue on their priority list this year. Of that group, 46% say that their largest transformation project is a digital marketing makeover—of people, programs and platforms. But other priorities such as better sales/marketing alignment, better data integration, or improved performance measurement, are also big issues. What is interesting is that few of these priorities are really about marketing. They are data and technology challenges.
