It is my pleasure to write this letter of recommendation for ShanayAbbas Fazal. Abbas
joined gradberry.com as a Social Media Intern for a period of 2 months at our Middle East
Headquarters in Dubai, U.A.E. Abbas was very bright, effective and hardworking during his time
as an intern. He was given the responsibility of handling our social media outlets of 20,000
students and graduates, and was trained in social media analytics as well. He fulfilled the
responsibilities with little supervision, showcased the ability to work independently and
articulate ideas and proactively brought up creative ways to better reach the students and
graduates via these outlets. During his tenure, he has showcased his excellent verbal and
written communication skills accompanied by avid interest and enthusiasm to learn.
He was able to handle all tasks provided to him by his direct line manager, Jason Torion,
and was able to manage his time effectively and deliver his projects on time. Abbas was always
willing to offer his assistance, headstrong and displayed an impressive work ethic and despite
being the youngest in the team, showcased a level of professionalism beyond his age. He has
shown his effectiveness and productivity with our Business Development projects and
Instructor and User Acquisition strategies. I have no qualms in recommending Abbas for any
endeavor he chooses to pursue.
