Faith-based Organization Overview:
Realizing that religious and spiritual journeys might have lots of twists and turns and bumps in the road, I’m passionate
about helping others learn and come to their faith at their own pace and through whatever technology works for them at a
particular moment or time in their lives. With this backdrop I help organizations grow their membership and create
innovative programs. With patience, love and understanding, I want to help others find the gift of living a religious/spiritual
life deeply and with meaning. I have been extremely grateful for the wonderful teachers I’ve learned from and if I can
elevate others’ experience, help them on their path, teach them something new or open their eyes to exploring on their
own, then I will feel fulfilled.

 As a cantorial soloist, lead Sabbath services for Jewish residents – through singing and prayer
 Research and prepare a teaching on the weekly torah portion and give a historical explanation and background on
certain prayers and liturgical Jewish music included in the service
 Engage residents in learning, exploring and rediscovering their Jewish tradition, heritage and roots

Established 24 years ago,HaZamir:The International Jewish High School Choir is a network of choral chapters across the United
States and Israel which provides Jewish teens with a high level choral experience in a Jewish environment. HaZamir transcends
boundaries,giving teenagers a valuable and rare trans -denominational experience as an opportunityto forge close bonds and unite in a
common goal:music.
 Prepared teens to sing at national festival in New York; taught Jewish texts, Hebrew, history of the liturgy and music
 Met with Jewish organizations and synagogues and spoke about the mission and vision of HaZamir to engage
community in fundraising and recruiting local talent
 Created a safe and welcoming environment where any teen no matter where they were on their spiritual and religious
journey felt welcome in the HaZamir community
