  2. WHAT I DO 2 SME Banking – new customers up to £25m Turnover, up to £10m Debt. Part of a National Team dedicated to our professional introducers. Supporting local Directors and Managers in growing their business. Acquisition transactions, switching trading businesses Key Markets; Professionals, Healthcare, Property, Manufacturing Delivery of a full range of funding ideas and services e.g. Trade Finance, Commercial Finance, Deposit Services & RGF Assisted Asset Deposit Scheme.
  3. WHAT WE DELIVERED IN 2013 3 A team of 80 / 1500 (5%) Over £1bn sanctioned in 2013, that’s an average of £12.5m each. £50m across the 4 of us in Devon & Cornwall including £15m in Healthcare £700m drawn in 2013. £7.8m each. 40% up on 2012.
  4. 4 Supporting your businesses For example, we: • achieved 6% year on year growth in advances to SMEs as at end of December 2013 • organise SME business seminars across the UK, offering guidance and support on subjects like employment law and sustainability • offer useful tools and free online business guides in the Business Help section of our website • aim to meet every reasonable request for competitive and commercially-priced finance from viable business customers • created an experienced turnaround team to help our customers cope with challenging conditions. We help UK businesses survive and thrive throughout the economic cycle. 6%
  5. HOW WE DELIVER 5 We are measured on doing the right thing by our clients Our clients and introducers are independently surveyed Best Business Bank and Best Commercial Mortgage Provider at the NACFB 2013 Awards Voted Bank of the Year by Finance Directors for 9 years in succession.
  6. 66 A relationship you can count on Bank of the Year 2005 – 2013 FDs’ Excellence Awards in association with ICAEW and supported by the CBI & Real Business. The FDs’ Excellence Awards rates banks on the real world experience of the UK’s Financial Directors. They are asked to rate their satisfaction with their bank, including: • Their relationship manager’s support for their business • The quality of service they received, including the bank’s willingness to lend • Their confidence that their main bank will support their future business.
