Newsprint – Offset Printing
Newsprint is a low-cost non-archival paper consisting mainly
of wood pulp. It is used to print newspaper and other
publications and advertising material
Invented in 1844 in Canada, has an off-white cast and is
designed for printing press for long web of paper, mostly,
using off-set printing
