 Generation of power from the
piezoelectric material. This is the
starting point of our project,.
 Rectification of generated AC
voltage. As the power generated
from the piezo material is AC is
needed to be rectified.
 Storage of rectified voltage.

Conversion of sound energy to
electrical energy
 sound energy is a mechanical energy which travel in the form of
wave, mechanical wave that is an oscillation of pressure which need
medium to travel.
 As sound wave is a mechanical wave when it travels through a
medium it disturbs the particle of the medium these disturbance
created by sound could be used to produce electricity by the law of
thermodynamics.
 In our daily use we use many products in which the conversion
between sound energy and electric energy takes place For e.g.:- mic
, speaker , mobile phone ,transducers. However the amount of
conversion is very small and we require large amount of energy to
convert it so the problem is how we could convert efficiently.

 Noise means any sound energy that has
random amplitude and frequency and
which creates disturbance in the ecosystem
thereby causing pollution.
 Noise consists of super-positioning of
mechanical waves. Their direction of
propagation is in all direction and travels
with 330 to 345 m/s velocity.
 Today due to road trafficking and airplanes
there is formidable amount of noise
production.
 Noise pollution contributes about 3% in
the total global warming every year.
 It creates a cacophony and leads to brain
stress, mental trauma and may also result in
permanent hearing loss (deafness) .

 Easy construction.
 Less number of parts required. Produced electricity can be

Future scope
 New solution for Nano-scale energy harvesting .
 The noise pollution in road would able to convert into electric energy and
lights the street lightning ,signals and various other electrical appliances.
 The noise pollution in runway could be used to produce electricity.
 The electricity produce in nuclear power station could increase as the sound
produce during nuclear fission also could be used to get more electric
energy.
 The noise pollution in industries could be used to produce electricity and
work certain low voltage machine.

Noise Levels in current world Thursday, March 2, 2017  Noise means any sound energy that has random amplitude and frequency and which creates disturbance in the ecosystem thereby causing pollution.  Noise consists of super-positioning of mechanical waves. Their direction of propagation is in all direction and travels with 330 to 345 m/s velocity.  Today due to road trafficking and airplanes there is formidable amount of noise production.  Noise pollution contributes about 3% in the total global warming every year.  It creates a cacophony and leads to brain stress, mental trauma and may also result in permanent hearing loss (deafness) . 11
