Testing of data is done by manually and customizing tools. We modify the Shell scripts as per requirements to test the Drawings & Images. The data is in Geographic data files(GDF) format which guides the customer when the customer needs data. Contribution As a Database Administrator of the Address database was responsible for the follows:  Planning of release.  Testing of sample Source Data (raw address data) before acquiring from Suppliers which is in different formats (.csv, .xls,.txt, .dbf , .tri, tab-separated, fixed-width,etc).  Converting the source data into intermediate format by creating Perl/Shell scripts on UNIX.  Database management like,manipulating Postal Address Data of each country using Make files,Perl and Shell programs and compiling them to AND’s book format for AND’s Clavis Suite and XML Services solution.  Primary testing of AND’s book using Manual & Automated tools.  Releasing book to Quality for detailedtesting.
