I am working as a Graduate trainee in Quality Control department in M/s.SL Lumax Ltd. Chennai
from AUGUST 2014 to JUNE 2016. SL Lumax is the joint venture company of SL Corporation, the largest
automotive Lightings manufacturer. It has been certified under, ISO / TS 16949: 2002 and Manufacturing
automotive parts for HYUNDAI MOTOR INDIA, FORD INDIA and GENERAL MOTORS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
 To monitor in house issues and maintain documents for daily, weekly and monthly trend.
 To analyze the quality problems in customer end & solve it in house area with the help of Product
Development Dept.
 Inspection at molding end & responsible for AQL approvals.
 Kaizen activity, Layout inspection, and Analysis of Process capability.
 Accepted quality level (AQL) defined with customer.
 Ensure & follow up the GQMS entry at Customer end.
 Reduction of customer return parts rate. Taking corrective action against customer complaints.
 Analysis of customer rejections (PPM) & initiation.
 Preparing and monitoring counter measure for customer complaints.
