I was one of two Journalists who worked for the weekly newspaper – interviewing, writing
copy, editing and taking photographs.
I was initially employed as a part-time general Administration Assistant. However, as a
consequence of my adaptability and willingness to take on new challenges, I was soon
promoted to the additional role of Payroll Manager.
I was initially employed as a Media Consultant on a three-month project. I completed this
project within six weeks and assisted in other areas of the department for the remainder
of my tenure. During this time the position of Personal Assistant to the District Manager
was created. I was successful in my application for this position.
