 This is responsible for producing items that satisfy wants and needs.

4. Main sectors
 There are three main sectors of an economy.
 Primary
 Secondary
 Tertiary

5. The Primary Sector
Extracting gold from a mine

6.  This sector is responsible for extracting resources from the earth.
 It includes mining, fishing, drilling and agriculture.
Extracting oil
Diving for clams
(pearls)
