MakerCon Bay Area 2015 was held May 12 and 13 in San Francisco at the iconic Palace of Fine Arts, the only remaining structure from the 1915 Panama-Pacific International Exposition. Here, you'll find the presentation used as part of my key note. MakerCon brings together individuals and companies that are at the forefront of the Maker Movement, like Atmel. Not only did I touch upon how our corporation provides the key building blocks for the Internet of Things, including our free and easy to use tools and development boards. I also discussed how our customers can leverage Atmel's large social footprint; it helps startups and Makers generate the necessary visibility to attain funds and become yet another crowdfunding success. The Maker Movement is rapidly changing the way people design, make things and ultimately launch businesses, whether it pertains to technology, manufacturing, education or our economy.
