What is Cityworks and how does FME fit in?
The premiere GIS-centric public asset
management software platform since
1996 powered by Trimble and built on
the concept of oneʼs GIS repository
being the authoritative system.
There is a rich library of Cityworks REST
API calls that can be leveraged to
automate most any AMS (work
activities) and PLL (permits) process, as
this is utilized to power the platform.

● Make sure to set up an Entity Uid that is
unique per layer
● Ideally, tie all work activities at a
minimum to an address thru a
geolocate operation
