This document summarizes a presentation given at the Seoul SIX Summer School in September 2013 about how cities learn from each other. The presentation discusses examples from the EU Urban 50 case studies of innovative urban projects, and conclusions about tensions between inclusion and competitiveness in cities. It also considers how networks like SIX can help cities exchange knowledge, innovate, and take action by involving more cities from more parts of the world.
