All rights reserved. ǀ Data discovery roadmap update For CustomersContext Our Strategy We have two Data Discovery solutions • SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC) • SAP Lumira Discovery SAC is maturing rapidly • Supports live access to on- premise data in S/4, BW/4, HANA, and Universes • Becoming a default part of all SAP cloud solutions Competitive market • Customers will benefit from a clear focus on a single solution for data discovery. SAP Analytics Cloud is the primary data discovery solution for all customers • The SAP Lumira Discovery roadmap will now focus on quality, performance, and parity with SAP Lumira 1.x • We will support SAP Lumira customers to ensure successful go-live of existing projects • SAP Lumira 2.x will be supported and maintained through at least 2024 • New feature development on SAP Lumira Discovery will be minimal starting in 2019 • SAP Lumira Discovery remains a great complement to SAP Lumira Designer as a rapid prototyping tool for analytic applications Hybrid ▪ Combine SAP Analytics Cloud, SAP Analytics Hub, and SAP BusinessObjects Enterprise into a hybrid solution ▪ Deliver rapid innovation across all three hybrid components On-premise innovations ▪ Continue to innovate with Analysis for Office (AO), Lumira Designer, Web Intelligence, and Crystal Reports with a focus on hybrid use cases Commercial options • On-premise shelfware can be replaced with SAC and SAH subscriptions using the Cloud Extension Policy • Pilot a hybrid license that combines BOE and SAC in 1H 2018.
