 JMC Projects (India) Ltd, a part of Kalpataru Group, is one of the leading Civil contracting companies in India
with a gross revenue of nearly Rs. 2500 Crores for the fiscal year ended March 2016.
 As a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts, leading a team of 11members incl. 2 CAs, deputed for Corporate
Head Office assignments, I’m entrusted with the main task of (1) Accounts Finalisation, (2) Statutory
Compliances & (3) MIS Reporting.
 (1) Accounts Finalisation : Preparation of Annual & Quarterly Financial Statements including
Consolidated Financial Statements for timely submission of Annual Report / Quarterly Result Disclosures as
per SEBI Listing Agreement.
 Preparation of Balance-sheet, Profit & Loss A/c. & Cash-Flow Statement in accordance with both

Tax Return in ITR-6, filing of Wealth Tax Return, attending Income Tax Authorities Hearings and
completing Regular Assessment Proceedings for JMC, its Subsidiaries, JVs and associates
 For Income Tax Block Assessment, in addition to preparation of Section 14A Disallowance
Statement, Cash-Flow Statement, TDS Return Revision and its Vendor wise reconciliation with
Accounts for Block period, conducting parallel submissions before CIT(A) as well as before Principal
Commissioner of Income Tax u/s. 263 of ITA, 1961 as per High Court Order
 Compliances pertaining to TDS Return – ensuring timely deduction and deposit of TDS, online
generation and timely disbursement of Quarterly TDS Certificates, downloading Justification Reports

 Scope of Work with Havmor Ice-Cream Ltd. : (12/02/2009 – 03/08/2011) :
 Havmor Group of Companies is a major player in Ice Cream manufacturing, occupying more than 35% market
share in Gujarat as well as holding a prime position in carrying on a retail chain of Restaurants and Fast Food
business.
 As a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts, leading a team of 16 members, I was managing Accounts
Finalisation & Direct Taxation for 6 Group Companies, booking the aggregate turnover of above Rs. 175
Crores.
 (1) Accounts Finalisation : Coordinating with our Statutory Auditors for finalising books of accounts in
accordance with applicable Accounting Standards & as per the Statutory Norms.
 As a Module Head for FI (Finance) Module, received an opportunity to play a key role in “SAP
Implementation” throughout Havmor Group and manage integration with other Modules like MM
(Material Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), CS (Customer Service),
QC (Quality Control) and PM (Plant & Maintenance)
 During Pre-Implementation & Post-Implementation stages, successfully handled crucial tasks like
smooth migration of Accounts balances from legacy system to SAP system, creation of detailed
Fixed Asset Register for the first time, getting online all the Banks & Bank Reconciliation, clearing
all GR/IR Clearing Accounts, scrutinizing and Closing Books of Accounts and extracting first
Financial Statements of Havmor Group in SAP
 (2) Direct Taxation & Other Compliances :
 Independently getting Tax audits completed for all Group Companies
 Filing of Income Tax Returns, Wealth Tax Returns as well as Quarterly TDS Returns for Group
Concerns as well as those for the Directors and Key persons; complying with requirements of Section
80IB for new undertaking
 Assisting our Income tax consultants in ongoing proceedings with Income Tax Appellate Tribunal
as well as in submissions with I.T.O., C.I.T. & C.I.T.(Appeals)
 Accomplishing R.O.C. related requirements like filing Annual Returns, obtaining DIN, filing petition
before CLB under the then S. 141, filing various Forms like Form No. 8, 32, 2, 21, etc.
 (3) MIS Reporting : Timely submission of Monthly MIS / Profitability statement as well as Cash Flow
Statement of HIL to enable the management to take timely action.
 (4) Finance : Liaison with various Banking / Financing Authorities for the purpose of Project Loan / Term
Loan Approval as well as corresponding with them for the purpose of day-today working capital
requirements.
 Initiating the usage of new finance products for faster collection of funds from various dealer
locations scattered all over Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharashtra by coordinating with our bankers
 Scope of Work with Reliance Retail Ltd. : (27/06/2006 – 11/02/2009) :
 Reliance Retail Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary company of Reliance Industries Ltd., a Fortune Global 500 company
carrying on a chain of retail outlets throughout India.
 As a Deputy Manager, leading a team of 5 members, handled the portfolio of Centralised Bank Payments
and Statutory Compliances.
 (1) Finance & Accounts : Working on SAP FI Module regulating day to day Bank Reconciliation for 30 bank
accounts including Collection accounts; also had working exposure of Accounts Receivable and Real Estate
Module in SAP.
 Taking care of - Fund Management, timely preparation and submission of Actual & Projected Cash
Flow for Group Companies along-with periodical MIS reporting
 Made a part of “Financial Report Finalisation Committee” for finalisation of Accounts, calculation
of “Deferred Tax Assets / Liabilities” as per AS 22 & Management Reporting for few of our group
companies
 (2) Direct & Indirect Taxation : For few of our Group Companies, solely responsible for handling Direct

 In Indirect Taxation, looked after determination of Gujarat VAT Rates for all category products,
timely filing of monthly / quarterly & annual VAT Returns for nearly 40 Group companies, handling

(22/05/2006 – 24/06/2006) : (As Assistant Manager – Reporting to V.P. – Accounts & Finance)
 In iNDUCTOTHERM India Pvt. Ltd., which is a leading induction billet manufacturing company from amongst
the alliance group of international companies, I was mainly responsible for monthly preparation of
Consolidated Segmental Report in dollar denomination for Group business all over North America, South
America, Europe, Asia & Australia as well as for auditing Group Companies of Asia wherein scope of audit
primarily covered the adherence to specific guidelines & rules developed by the alliance group jointly.
 Scope of Work with iCall India Ltd., a unit of Adani Group, carrying on B.P.O. activities :
(20/09/2005 – 20/05/2006) : (As Review Executive – Reporting to Head of Operations)
 I was responsible for managing the online preparation of accounts of certain Denmark companies
associated with KPMG, a leading global firm of auditors.
 During the tenure, I had an opportunity to assist the task of Budget preparation and Financial Analysis
pertaining to Apparel division of Adani Retail Ltd.

  • 2. 2 | P a g e  Scope of Work with JMC Projects (I) Ltd. : (04/08/2011 till Date) :  JMC Projects (India) Ltd, a part of Kalpataru Group, is one of the leading Civil contracting companies in India with a gross revenue of nearly Rs. 2500 Crores for the fiscal year ended March 2016.  As a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts, leading a team of 11members incl. 2 CAs, deputed for Corporate Head Office assignments, I’m entrusted with the main task of (1) Accounts Finalisation, (2) Statutory Compliances & (3) MIS Reporting.  (1) Accounts Finalisation : Preparation of Annual & Quarterly Financial Statements including Consolidated Financial Statements for timely submission of Annual Report / Quarterly Result Disclosures as per SEBI Listing Agreement.  Preparation of Balance-sheet, Profit & Loss A/c. & Cash-Flow Statement in accordance with both IndAS compliant Schedule III to the Companies Act, 2013 as well as Indian GAAP, Result in SEBI prescribed Formats, Notes concerning Grouping of all GLs in Financials, Other Notes forming part of Accounts, Fixed Assets Note, Financial highlights, Investor Queries Statement, ESOP Statement, Ratios Statement including EBITDA & EPS, Merging of Foreign Branch & JV Performances in Stand- alone Financials, Year-end Closing entries  Current / Non-Current Bifurcation of All Assets & Liabilities and maintenance of Current Ratio  Contributing nearly 75% Material towards Annual Report Preparation  Attending Statutory Auditor’s Queries & getting Financials signed  Attending Accounts related Queries from Bankers and preparation of Quarterly MPBF Report  Preparation of Segmental Accounting Revenue Record as per NPCS Codes as required by MCA for XBRL filing of Annual Return with ROC  For Consolidated Financials, incorporating subsidiary companies’ and joint ventures’ Financials in Stand-alone, passing Inter-Co. Reserve entries, timely submission of Consolidated Financials to Holding Company in BPC (Business Planning & Consolidation) Module format, preparation of Consolidated Cash Flow Statement and Statement u/s. 129(3) of Companies Act, 2013 along with Notes forming part of Accounts  (2) Statutory Compliances : (a) Direct Taxation : Solely accountable for preparing Statement of Total Income as per ICDS, Calculation of Current Tax, Deferred Tax, Depreciation as per ITA, S. 80-IA Deduction Statement.  Heading the team engaged in preparation of all annexures required for conducting Tax Audit, (SDT) Specified Domestic Transaction Audit and 80-IA Deduction Audit, including online filing of Income Tax Return in ITR-6, filing of Wealth Tax Return, attending Income Tax Authorities Hearings and completing Regular Assessment Proceedings for JMC, its Subsidiaries, JVs and associates  For Income Tax Block Assessment, in addition to preparation of Section 14A Disallowance Statement, Cash-Flow Statement, TDS Return Revision and its Vendor wise reconciliation with Accounts for Block period, conducting parallel submissions before CIT(A) as well as before Principal Commissioner of Income Tax u/s. 263 of ITA, 1961 as per High Court Order  Compliances pertaining to TDS Return – ensuring timely deduction and deposit of TDS, online generation and timely disbursement of Quarterly TDS Certificates, downloading Justification Reports and attending Departmental Queries  Availing Lower Rate TDS Certificates by filing Form 13  Online Generation of Form 15CA for Non Resident remittances attracting TDS u/s. 195 (b) Indirect Taxation and Other Compliances :  Assisting in annual Service Tax Audit for Accounts related matters as well as attending to DGCEI proceedings  Statutory Compliances pertaining to Maharashtra VAT, Gujarat VAT  Availing Annual Cost Audit Report & related XBRL filings through preparation of Segmental Cost Accounting Record and Reconciliation Statement of Financial & Cost Records  Preparation of Depreciation Chart as per newly introduced Companies Act, 2013, giving effect of transitional provisions in Retained Earnings & its asset-wise Reconciliation with Fixed Assets Note  (3) MIS Reporting : Timely circulation of Monthly MIS Report deriving Site-wise Division-wise Profitability Statement for the Company as a whole.  Solving System related hitches or change requirements in Accounting & Statutory Compliances  Implementing innovative methods & Excel Utilities for efficient preparation of Financial Statements, MIS Reports, TDS deduction on NR remittances u/s. 195, Income Tax Calculation, Managerial Remuneration Calculation, Black-Scholes Model (1973) for option pricing, Foreign Exchange Currency dealings - Derivatives & Options
  • 3. 3 | P a g e  Scope of Work with Havmor Ice-Cream Ltd. : (12/02/2009 – 03/08/2011) :  Havmor Group of Companies is a major player in Ice Cream manufacturing, occupying more than 35% market share in Gujarat as well as holding a prime position in carrying on a retail chain of Restaurants and Fast Food business.  As a Senior Manager – Finance & Accounts, leading a team of 16 members, I was managing Accounts Finalisation & Direct Taxation for 6 Group Companies, booking the aggregate turnover of above Rs. 175 Crores.  (1) Accounts Finalisation : Coordinating with our Statutory Auditors for finalising books of accounts in accordance with applicable Accounting Standards & as per the Statutory Norms.  As a Module Head for FI (Finance) Module, received an opportunity to play a key role in “SAP Implementation” throughout Havmor Group and manage integration with other Modules like MM (Material Management), PP (Production Planning), SD (Sales & Distribution), CS (Customer Service), QC (Quality Control) and PM (Plant & Maintenance)  During Pre-Implementation & Post-Implementation stages, successfully handled crucial tasks like smooth migration of Accounts balances from legacy system to SAP system, creation of detailed Fixed Asset Register for the first time, getting online all the Banks & Bank Reconciliation, clearing all GR/IR Clearing Accounts, scrutinizing and Closing Books of Accounts and extracting first Financial Statements of Havmor Group in SAP  (2) Direct Taxation & Other Compliances :  Independently getting Tax audits completed for all Group Companies  Filing of Income Tax Returns, Wealth Tax Returns as well as Quarterly TDS Returns for Group Concerns as well as those for the Directors and Key persons; complying with requirements of Section 80IB for new undertaking  Assisting our Income tax consultants in ongoing proceedings with Income Tax Appellate Tribunal as well as in submissions with I.T.O., C.I.T. & C.I.T.(Appeals)  Accomplishing R.O.C. related requirements like filing Annual Returns, obtaining DIN, filing petition before CLB under the then S. 141, filing various Forms like Form No. 8, 32, 2, 21, etc.  (3) MIS Reporting : Timely submission of Monthly MIS / Profitability statement as well as Cash Flow Statement of HIL to enable the management to take timely action.  (4) Finance : Liaison with various Banking / Financing Authorities for the purpose of Project Loan / Term Loan Approval as well as corresponding with them for the purpose of day-today working capital requirements.  Initiating the usage of new finance products for faster collection of funds from various dealer locations scattered all over Gujarat, Rajasthan & Maharashtra by coordinating with our bankers  Scope of Work with Reliance Retail Ltd. : (27/06/2006 – 11/02/2009) :  Reliance Retail Ltd. is a 100% subsidiary company of Reliance Industries Ltd., a Fortune Global 500 company carrying on a chain of retail outlets throughout India.  As a Deputy Manager, leading a team of 5 members, handled the portfolio of Centralised Bank Payments and Statutory Compliances.  (1) Finance & Accounts : Working on SAP FI Module regulating day to day Bank Reconciliation for 30 bank accounts including Collection accounts; also had working exposure of Accounts Receivable and Real Estate Module in SAP.  Taking care of - Fund Management, timely preparation and submission of Actual & Projected Cash Flow for Group Companies along-with periodical MIS reporting  Made a part of “Financial Report Finalisation Committee” for finalisation of Accounts, calculation of “Deferred Tax Assets / Liabilities” as per AS 22 & Management Reporting for few of our group companies  (2) Direct & Indirect Taxation : For few of our Group Companies, solely responsible for handling Direct Taxation matters like TDS deduction and timely online deposition, filing of quarterly E-TDS Returns, Fringe Benefit, Advance Tax & MAT calculation, Tax Audit and preparation & “E-filing” of Income-tax returns.  Had an opportunity to participate in Tax Planning matters of Demerger & consequent Take-over of Adani Retail Ltd.  In Indirect Taxation, looked after determination of Gujarat VAT Rates for all category products, timely filing of monthly / quarterly & annual VAT Returns for nearly 40 Group companies, handling VAT Audit

Ltd., which is a leading induction billet manufacturing company from amongst the alliance group of international companies, I was mainly responsible for monthly preparation of Consolidated Segmental Report in dollar denomination for Group business all over North America, South America, Europe, Asia & Australia as well as for auditing Group Companies of Asia wherein scope of audit primarily covered the adherence to specific guidelines & rules developed by the alliance group jointly.  Scope of Work with iCall India Ltd., a unit of Adani Group, carrying on B.P.O. activities : (20/09/2005 – 20/05/2006) : (As Review Executive – Reporting to Head of Operations)  I was responsible for managing the online preparation of accounts of certain Denmark companies associated with KPMG, a leading global firm of auditors.  During the tenure, I had an opportunity to assist the task of Budget preparation and Financial Analysis pertaining to Apparel division of Adani Retail Ltd.  Scope of Work with M/s.
