Greetings!
IWPG has been established to protect precious lives with maternal hearts
and to leave a legacy of a peaceful world for the future generations. The
noble heart of all mothers is the most powerful force that can protect all
children and be the answer to peace.
Despite of the longing for peace of all mankind and many sacrifices of peace
activists who walked on tough lives, the world is still not peaceful and is still
in darkness. IWPG has been working for peace through the global network
with 3.6 billion women to bring the world peace to the battlefields and to the
whole world.
As the moon in the sky receives the light from the sun and shines on the
world, IWPG will contribute to heal the wounds of the global village from war
and terror, share the happiness and realize the world peace with the motherly
heart of the women leaders and volunteers around the world.
Just as mother’s womb is a place of miracle where the seed of life
transforms into a new creation, if all women becomes as the womb for
everyone, we can make a miracle of peace.
Let us all become peace messengers in order to protect the children from war
and leave a legacy of a peaceful world as a gift to the future generations. If we
become one, we can surely do it.
“Now is the time of realizing peace.”
Let’stop the violence,
conflicts and wars and
open the peaceful era with 3.6 billion
women a around the world.
International Women’Peace Group
It is our mission as mothers to protect our children from
all wars and to end global conflicts. We aim to accomplish
world peace so that we can pass it on as a legacy for our
future generations.
We cooperate with women in both national and international
communities to establish a world of peace without war.
We urge the alliance of all religions and call upon the
politicians to legislate and enact an international law for
cessation of wars and establishment of world peace.
We establish IWPG branch offices in every country so
that all women work as one and become peace messengers
for world peace.
We are the light for the future generation, cherishing
each other and protecting life with a heart of peace and
order that lasts forever.
The five guidelines of IWPG stated above are unchangeable.
Let all women of the world become one in equality.

International Law International Law Support and Advocacy
In order to make a peaceful world without war, we need more than just hoping
and desiring and must make peace be feasible through law and institution.
In addition, every nation should consistently secure such legislation along
with spreading a peaceful culture supported by the law-abiding spirit in each
region around the world. IWPG strongly supports the enactment of ‘Law for
Peace’ as a practical and innovative way to achieve peace.
It is a project to support and promote the ‘Declaration of Peace and Cessation
of War(DPCW)’ of HWPL, the cooperating organization of IWPG. The DPCW
proclaimed by HWPL in 2016 contains a number of practical contents that can
actually achieve peace, including the anti-war articles that prevent war from
occurring. IWPG advocates and encourages the enactment of DPCW into
international law with legally binding effects, and publicizes it widely in
various countries and communities through various means.
The signature movement promotes and enhances the DPCW to become an
enforceable law. IWPG cooperates with city governments worldwide for
support of world citizens through signature collecting campaigns on-line and
off-line.
IWPG’s campaign is to urge and publicize each article and clause of DPCW and
make it easier for citizens to recognize it.
IWPG carries out various campaigns such as cessation of arms production,
empowerment of women’s right, and publicity based on the spirit of the ‘Peace
Declaration(DPCW)’ in order to support all countries to recognize and accept
the DPCW to accelerate the way to bring peace forward.

The conferences and forums that provide detailed explanations of the ‘Peace
Declaration(DPCW)’ are very effective in supporting, encouraging and pro-
moting the ‘Peace Declaration(DPCW)’. In particular, the ‘9.18 IWPG Network
Forum’ where women leaders and heads of government from all over the
world gather, is a representative advocacy forum. In addition, various seminars
are held to support and help understand the DPCW.
■Conferences, Forums
Only Peace Conference
International Women’s Peace Group (IWPG) Korea Headquarters (Director
Yoon Hyeonsuk) hosted peace conferences titled ‘Only Peace Conference’
through August and September of 2017. Underlining themes for the
unification of the Korean Peninsula and to highlight the necessity and urge for
an International Law instrument for peace, Only Peace Conference was hosted
in South Korean regions including Seoul, Gyeonggi, Incheon, Cheonan, Yeosu,
Jeonju, and Busan. Notably, the conference was hosted amid rising tensions
on the Korean Peninsula amid a series of missile tests by North Korea.

and round table talks were lead by the chair of council, city council members,
professors, journalists, artists, religious leaders, head of NGOs, and the HQ
director and branch directors of IWPG. Talks at the conference focused on the
three themes:
‘Korean Unification and the Cessation of War’, ‘Implementation Methods for
‘Cessation of War’, and ‘Promotion Plans for an International Legal Instrument
for Peace and Cessation of War’.
“IWPG’s members worldwide are running peace campaigns and working
with heads of NGOs for women that are registered in the UN to work for an
international legal instrument for peace,” she said as she called for action to
the audience. “Women and youth around the world must reach out to their
presidents, ministers and MPs and urge them to implement a legal instrument
for peace in the international community.”
Talks given by women who are North Korean escapees also gained much
attention from the international audience. Their recollection of the devastating
experiences and the life-risking journeys for freedom and peace reminded the
participants of why we need a peaceful world, free of wars.

The IWPG Peace Education is an educational program that supports 3.6 billion
women worldwide. It is to educate the importance of women’s role to achieve
peace and awaken the minds to understand the importance of a women’s part
by leading them to be leaders for peace.

practical peace education which gives the lesson that peace starting from
myself can be extended to our homes, society, and nation, and furthermore
to the whole global community will help grow women around the world as
peace leaders.
The Women Peace Education is an education that awakens the role and
mission of women and fosters women peace leaders in achieving peace.

and Leadership providing steps according to the circumstances of each coun-
try and region. Among these programs, ‘Peace Step’ is an education that every
woman should take as a global citizen.
The Training for Women Peace Lecturers is to educate professional educators
who can give education for peace in their region and country with the spirit
of peace. Being a peace lecturer representing the IWPG will be a prestigious
and honorable qualification that lasts long from generation to generation in
the future.

  • 2. 2 3 Greetings! IWPG has been established to protect precious lives with maternal hearts and to leave a legacy of a peaceful world for the future generations. The noble heart of all mothers is the most powerful force that can protect all children and be the answer to peace. Despite of the longing for peace of all mankind and many sacrifices of peace activists who walked on tough lives, the world is still not peaceful and is still in darkness. IWPG has been working for peace through the global network with 3.6 billion women to bring the world peace to the battlefields and to the whole world. As the moon in the sky receives the light from the sun and shines on the world, IWPG will contribute to heal the wounds of the global village from war and terror, share the happiness and realize the world peace with the motherly heart of the women leaders and volunteers around the world. Just as mother’s womb is a place of miracle where the seed of life transforms into a new creation, if all women becomes as the womb for everyone, we can make a miracle of peace. Let us all become peace messengers in order to protect the children from war and leave a legacy of a peaceful world as a gift to the future generations. If we become one, we can surely do it. “Now is the time of realizing peace.” Let’stop the violence, conflicts and wars and open the peaceful era with 3.6 billion women a around the world. International Women’Peace Group It is our mission as mothers to protect our children from all wars and to end global conflicts. We aim to accomplish world peace so that we can pass it on as a legacy for our future generations. We cooperate with women in both national and international communities to establish a world of peace without war. We urge the alliance of all religions and call upon the politicians to legislate and enact an international law for cessation of wars and establishment of world peace. We establish IWPG branch offices in every country so that all women work as one and become peace messengers for world peace. We are the light for the future generation, cherishing each other and protecting life with a heart of peace and order that lasts forever. The five guidelines of IWPG stated above are unchangeable. Let all women of the world become one in equality. 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. s s Guidelines The acting chairwoman and director of the IWPG Headquarters Hyun Sook Yoon

In addition, every nation should consistently secure such legislation along with spreading a peaceful culture supported by the law-abiding spirit in each region around the world. The signature movement promotes and enhances the DPCW to become an enforceable law. HWPL has been working to enact the international peace law to realize the cessation of war and world peace, which has made progress every year. Dec- laration of Peace and Cessation of War (DPCW, 10 articles, 38 clauses) will be the answer for the world peace. In addition, since religious conflicts have caused about 80% of war, the alliance of religions to prevent war is a key issue of the WARP Summit. ’ ‘ 22 23
