1. This slide is not part of the program. Editor’s Notes: Credit is given for information and photos in a separate attachment. The info and photos are used only for this demonstration. This PowerPoint is not for public use without permission. To keep the lecture moving and on track, slides are used on an average of one per minute. In any advertisements for this lecture - writing utensils and paper will be suggested. This will allow the writing of questions during the lecture. Questions to be at the end of the lecture. This program is a draft. Only on-line research and memory were used. Coordination with assorted P&O, such as the Tour Desk, is desirable. This would allow sharing of the current situation, i.e., which products need to be sold or “upselling” opportunities. More animations and/or sounds could be added. Updating, such as the weather slides, would be required. Allow at least 10 seconds per slide to see any animations. “Click” to start slide program.

Quote (don’t read, just for info purposes here: ‘ The First Nations People of Nova Scotia are known as the Mi'kmaq. At the time of first contact with European explorers in the 16th and 17th centuries the Mi'kmaq lived in the region now known as the Maritime provinces and the Gaspé peninsula. Later they also settled in New England and Newfoundland. The Mi'kmaq called themselves L'nu'k, meaning "the people." The term Mi'kmaq comes from their word nikmak, meaning "my kin-friends." ‘ These drawing are from a Nova Scotia Museum of Natural History information sheet. This museum is just one of twenty sevenlocated throughout the province. The Maritime Museum of the Atlantic is near the pier where we will dock.1747 Summer Street,
