JOB OBJECTIVE:
To hold a position of responsibility, that is commensurate with my experience a
position calling for good public relations and ability to communicate. I have
highly developed skills, an excellent command of English, and a willingness to
meet the challenge of new learning situations.
EXPERIENCE:
Over the years my experience has mainly been in Forest Industry related design
and drafting. At both Carroll Hatch and Anthony Seaman I gained much working
experience in sawmill design. At Precision Services and Engineering work there
was related to O.S.B. mills. For the past few years I have been working on detail
design of Lineal Log Merchandisers as well as many engineering projects for
Murray-Pacific.
I have been working in AutoCAD for approximately 25 years and have a great
knowledge of computers.

structural and mechanical work. Also, I helped develop the Murray-Pacific ‘lineal log
merchandiser’ and ‘log centering conveyor’ by doing detailed drawing of all parts for
these machines.

The work I did for P.S. & E. included both mechanical and structural drafting and design
of O.S.B. plants. I started there working on the drafting board and then using AutoCAD
for about 3 years. Mechanical work included equipment such as residual conveyors, roll
cases, distribution conveyors and rake-back conveyors. My structural experience was
mainly in the layout and detailing of walkways but also included concrete foundations for
equipment such as flakers.
P.S. & E. was purchased by Raute Wood and moved to New Westminster. I continued
working on O.S.B. plants for a while and then started working on a L.V.L. (Laminated
4. Veneer Lumber) plant. I produced detailed shop drawings, for equipment which was
built in our shop. I gained experience using a parts database called Minx.
