I recently had the pleasure of working with Roberta Burkšaitė in the successful 2014 production of
Tied Together Still - The Living Museum of Erotic Women. The immersive theatre production was
made up of a team of 18 professional members including cast and crew with a 7 month
development period concluding with a week season. !
!
I employed Roberta as the assistant production manager for the period of April - August 2014 and
during this time she exceeded her expectations within this role and offered much more than was
expected of her. Roberta’s enthusiasm and passion for the project was shown by her ability to take
on many tasks and work many more hours than expected. !
!
Roberta’s tasks including assisting with rehearsal and scheduling, costume making and set
construction, assistant stage managing, stocktaking and cash handling for the licensed bar, head
management of ushers, assisting with the creative direction of the cast within the venue location
and assisting with fund raising events. During her employment Roberta always maintained an
extremely professional attitude and approach to her work, was punctual and was always willing to
take on any tasks asked of her with keen eagerness. Roberta is a great communicator, is very
bright and bubbly and can work quickly on her feet under stressful and demanding situations which
enabled her to work well with both with the cast and crew. She was always there to help out with a
smile.!

Upon conclusion of the production it became very apparent to me that I simply could not have
achieved the great success of this production without Roberta’s assistance, input and willingness
to be a part of the project. Roberta was an absolute joy to work with and I would not hesitate to
employ her again. I highly recommend Roberta in any roles involving theatre or production
management, assistant director, stage management, FOH management, event fundraising,
costume making/set construction assistant and creative assistant. Roberta will be a great asset to
any team!!
