Robert Ryan Karish has over a decade of experience as a lifeguard and environmental volunteer and internships. He is currently pursuing a B.A. in Environmental Science from the University of Florida with a minor in agriculture and natural resource law. Karish has worked as a lifeguard for the City of Jacksonville Beach Ocean Rescue since 2009 and has volunteered over 1600 hours for the American Red Cross Volunteer Life Saving Corps, where he served as staff officer and lead instructor in 2015. He has also interned twice with the Florida Department of Environmental Protection, working on projects related to wetland assessment and remediation.
