Works within 30 member technical team in support of pharmaceutical production
operations at a plant with over 2400 personnel and a 24 hour operation and testing
schedule. Lead technician of 4 person team that works with Instruments and over 100
analysts in Biological, Chemical, and Supply Quality areas to maintain service and
measurement of over 600 instruments yearly. Coordinates training, scheduling, and
accessing of areas and data and operational systems. Reviews testing results and
database entries, writes and develops calibration technical procedures, and tracks
quality corrective action reporting. Work with business unit Managers, Validation, IT/BT,
and Quality Engineering resulted in the determination, evaluation, and qualification
processes for 15 newly proposed and received measurement Instruments, all accepted
in the last two years.
Equipment and instruments support for a wide range, including Mettler Toldeo,
Beckman, Hach, Perkin Elmer, Agilent, Steris, GE Sievers, Rudolph, Anton Paar,
Biotek, VersaStar Millipore, Thermo Fisher, Thornton, Steris, Honeywell, Wika, Sherr
Tumico, and other manufacturer instruments, as well as controlled sterilization, solution
and finishing systems.
Previous employment for over 23 years from 1983 to 2007 in active enlisted service in
U. S. Navy at several different locations and capacities. The assignments supported
several aspects of Naval activity on east and west coasts of the U.S., as well as
deployments overseas. The primary field of focus from 01/1984 to 12/2002 was
2. aviation electronics in communications, navigation, RADAR, metrology and Quality
Assurance.
Successful development through many assignments began as an avionics student in
1984, comm/nav/radio/altimeter avionics tech, metrology assistant manager, shop
supervisor, Quality Assurance branch lead for 2 years, and AV/ARM Branch Chief in
2001, supporting land and sea based aircraft maintenance and operations. Continuous
duties as Quality Assurance team for 15 years, Equal Opportunity Instructor for 12
years, section manager positions, shipboard emergency team member and leader
duties, as well as security patrol and watch duties.
Further opportunity was attained in human resource accessions. Served as the Navy
ROTC college scholarship program coordinator for North and South Carolina from 2003
to 2007. Processed with confidentiality over 100 new application records per year, and
supported an over 75% applicant scholarship award rate throughout the over 3 year
tour.

High school graduation June 1983, received diploma from Northern Nash Senior
High School, Nash County, NC.
