4. Describe the roles and
responsibilities of a project
manager (6 marks)
A project manager plans and controls the whole
project, identifying and rectifying any problems
that they come across. They are in charge for
setting deadlines so that the project is done in
time. In order for all work to be done on time the
project manager will have to have a single point
of contact with the team so that he/she knows
what is going on. The project manager is also
responsible for managing the budgets so that
the cost does not go over the amount agreed
with the client.
