During this short period of time between then & now, we gained customers like TCS, Nokia, Oracle, HCL, TIBCO, RBI and thousands of individual professionals working in multiple IT companies. For our need to provide online training, we have used several popular web conferencing platforms. We also started building our in house video conferencing solution a few years back. Our focus was on building a very easy to use platform that anybody could use without much knowhow of IT. We have been using the platform for quite some time and our online students always appreciated the ease of the platform. Recent times have been very difficult for all of us. The threat of Covid19 has locked us inside our houses and separated us. The schools/colleges are unable to operate normally. Companies are facing difficulty in finding work from home solutions. Existing meeting services are either costly to adopt, difficult to use or are having security issues. We decided to invite others to leverage on the secure web meeting platform we have built. People are finding it useful and we are happy to do our bit for the society

Competition Impact on School/Colleges Impact on Corporates EasyWebMeeting Free Features Numeric room URLs with meeting id being short 8 or 10 digit number Hackers can guess this number by randomly typing numbers and barge into random meetings and show obscene videos etc. Hackers can guess this number by randomly typing numbers and barge into random meetings to collect sensitive corporate information silently Meeting rooms are created as a concatenated string of random multi-letter words. This is not an easy combination that one can guess or type. And even if someone gets in, the platform allows host to kick out such guest participants. Even people managing the server has no way to know the list of active meeting rooms in use. Password Protection is available but it has to be set before meeting starts Some students or even not so technical teachers may have troubles in getting into password protected room Having password protection increases security and typically corporate customers are comfortable with it Meeting rooms can be created without password protection and then before or after the students join, the host can set password. When it is set before others join, no one can join the meeting without password. When it is set after, then people who are expected, can join easily without password and once the password is set, then only those with password can join Customer data and recordings are stored in service provider server Student details or teacher details stored on server or the recordings stored on server can fall in wrong people’s hand Corporate information as part of user data or recordings can get hacked No customer data or recording is stored on virtual conference server. Only customer’s business account is created on a separate portal server. No payment information is stored on server either. Meeting rooms get destroyed once every participant leave the meeting room. This ensures no data is persisted about the meeting room. Most web meeting platforms require users to install software on desktops/laptops or install mobile apps on smartphones. These apps and software can expose additional security loopholes which hackers can exploit Students and teachers share videos and gives camera access to these apps which can get into wrong hands if hackers can hack these apps Hackers tend to exploit security bugs in any software for corporate espionage Entire solution runs inside Google Chrome browser without requiring any extra software or app installation and hence there is no chance for any hacker to exploit any software bug in the user system, since no software is even installed. Google chrome is known for it’s security features. All camera/microphone access is taken away once browser tab is closed. The communication between server and user system is protected through https and HSTS to prevent any man in the middle attack situation

EasyWebMeeting Joining instruction Step 1 You will need a computer, tablet, or smartphone with speaker or headphones To join the video conference Step 2 Step 3 To strengthen security you have to enter your 4 digit passcode after clicking on the invitation link. (as shown in the picture below) Password Protection You may join the meeting by just clicking on the invitation link on any browser (as shown in the figure below). without having any trouble to download the software in your system.   20. 20. To join the video After joining moderator can change the default meeting link and then share with others from here Other attendees are supposed to join by clicking on that link opening from any browser
  21. 21. Password Protection Moderator can set the password after joining the meeting. This is a striking feature to ensure security by keeping only the intended attendees in the meeting and throwing away anyone if undesirable, after that locking the room
