1. Overview of E-way bill Portal by TaxStreets Global

1. There are three types registration under e-way bill 1. E-Way bill registration 2. Enrolment for
Transporters 3. Enrolment for Citizens
2. Click on E-way bill registration if you are a tax-payer
3. Enter your GSTIN & captcha code. All details from GSTIN portal fetched automatically if any change
requires click on-update from GST common Portal. All data will be updated then click on OTP to verify, A
OTP will be sent to your registered mail & mobile.
4. Once OTP will be verified, Portal will ask for User Name & Password, and then enter the same. Click
on submit button, a flash message will be reflect showing, user has been created.
5. The second option is Enrolment for Transporter:- When you will click on this option, it will be
redirected to your next window. By filling basic details you can enrolment for Transporter i.e. state, legal
name, trade name, PAN, type of enrolment, principal address, Contact Information, etc.
6. Third option Enrolment for Citizen-This option for ‘enrolment for citizen’. This option is not activated
yet.
7. After log in when you will visit your dashboard, there are 9 major headings provided on a common
portal.
(i) E-way bill-Generate New, Generate Bulk, Update Part B/Vehicle, Extend Validity, Update EWB
Transporter, Cancel, Print EWB
(ii) Consolidated E-way bill:-Generate New, Generate Bulk, Re-Generate, and Print Consolidated EWB.
(iii) Reject
(iv) Report: - My EWB Reports, Other EWB Reports, Master Reports, Summary Reports
(v) My Masters:-Products, Clients, Suppliers, Transporters, Bulk Upload

2. (vi) User Management:-Create Sub-User, Freeze Sub-User, Update-Sub-User, Change Password
(vii) Registration:-For SMS, For Android, For GSP, For API
(viii) Update:-As Transporter/Tax Payer, My GSTIN from CP
(ix) Grievance:-Detention Report
Step by Step E-way bill generating process:-
There are four important ways to generate e-way bill:-
1. Website
2. via SMS, Android App
3. via GSP
4. Or Via API
How to generate E-way bill ‘Via Web’ ?
There are some important steps which need to follow each and every registered dealer who is
generating e-way bill. For generating accurate e-way please follow below steps:-
Firstly every registered dealer should get registration on E-way bill portal by following
link https://ewaybillgst.gov.in.
Keep below details handy before generating e-way bill -
1. Invoice/challan/bill of supply of consignment goods copy in hand.

3. 2. If transportation is by road:-Transporter ID or Vehicle Number.
3. If the transportation is by rail, air, or ship-Transporter ID,
4. Transport document number, and date on the document and calculate approximate distance
between dispatch and delivery of goods.
Kindly log in to e-way bill systems by putting your LOGIN credentials as below shown screenshot.
Click on ‘Generating New’ under E-way bill’ option, as below shown screen shot.

4. Then please fill the following fields shown on the screen.
Select Transaction Type categories -(i) Outward (ii) Inward, as shown in below screenshot.
Select Sub-Type categories - (i) Supply (ii) Export (iii) Job Work (iv) SKD/CKD (iv) Recipient Now Known (v)
For own use (vi) Exhibition or Fairs (vii) Line Sales (viii) others, as shown below screen shot.
Then select ‘Document Type’-(i) Tax Invoice (ii) Bill of Supply (iii) Bill of Entry (iv) Delivery Challan (v) Credit
Note (vi) Others and enter document number & document date, as shown below screenshot.

5. After that enter bill from and dispatch from details and enter bill to ship to details, as shown below
screenshot:
Fill item details:-Product Name, Description, HSN, Quantity, Unit, Value/Taxable Value (Rs.), Tax Rate, as
shown below screenshot:
Enter approximately distance from consignor to consignee. (Calculate before starting to generate EWB)
and enter transportation details i.e. Transport Name, Transport ID/GSTN, as shown below screenshot.

6. After that fill part-B, Please enter Mode of transportation i.e. (I) Road (ii) Rail (iii) Air (IV) Ship
· Vehicle Type i.e. (i) Regular (ii) Over Dimensional Cargo,
· Vehicle No
· Transport doc. No. & Date
· Finally then click on ‘Submit’ button.
As shown below screenshot:-
After final submission, you will get 12 digits EWB-01. Which you can now handover to transporter with
invoice copy.
