I operate NOV knuckleboom cranes also I operate a Riser Gantry crane, I have also operated Liebherr
CBO 3600-80 LIT and two Heila Knuckleboom cranes, Link belt 238 friction cranes and Link belt 1500
cranes, National os435 cranes. My duties include operating and maintaining all cranes in accordance with
planned procedures on board the oil rig. To supervise and allocate jobs to all deck crew. Co-ordinate
lifting operations and deck cargo. Participate in fire drills as a fire team member. To assist in all aspects of
cargo loading/back loading during crane operations. Assisting the drill floor as and when needed. General
assistance in the movement of supplies materials or equipment as directed using safety slings and rigging
equipment. Assist various service companies with the installation and setting up of their equipment, casing
crews,General housekeeping. Taking part in the improvement of the rig through operational/maintenance
efficiency including pre job planning. Loading/ offloading both passengers and luggage, and the refueling
of helicopters. Checking heli fuel samples prior to refueling. I am also currently tasked as the crew safety
advisor.
