CONSULTIVE
2015 Developed the Florida State Emergency Response Commission (SERC) hazardous
materials training guidelines for Florida; a total of 27 different guidelines and in addition,
developed the Technician Certification Task Book and the Refresher Competencies
recording tool. These have all been adopted by the Florida State Fire Marshal’s Office
and have become the referenced guidelines in the State Administrative Code 69A-37.065.
2013 Assist the Florida Emergency Preparedness Association (FEPA) in the development of an
Emergency Management Certification for Healthcare.
2003 Subcommittee to develop the Florida State Hospital Response Plan and Co-Chairing the
Committee on the Regional Hospital Response Plan.
2003 Chair the Hospital Staff Core Competency Committee to the Florida State Working Group
and wrote the Recommended Hospital Staff Core Competencies for Disaster
Preparedness, in conjunction with Florida Hospital Association.
