               UHF Compensated Directional Coupler
                                        Specifically designed by OEM for OEMs


Orvieto, April 2012

RES-Ingenium is once again leading the OEMs Digital Products Market announcing the start of a new series
of High Quality Passive Components dedicated to Broadcasting Transmitters manufacturers.

The GK12070 (UHF Directional Coupler Body) and the GK12080 (Compensated UHF Plug) are the results
of the Research and Development of RES-Ingenium Technical staff focusing on design simple, reliable and
cost effective solutions for OEMs. The complete UHF Compensated Directional coupler is used in RES-

Ingenium last generation of High Performances Broad Band and Doherty Power Amplifiers (Doherty       ®),
both using the LDMOS power device BLF888BS.

The key characteristics of this unit are the extreme flatness all over the entire Broadcasting band (see
diagrams here below), the minimal high dimensions that allow the unit to be housed in a 1U rack, the
possibility of 4 probes in the same body and the ¼ wavelength distance between probe to probe that allow
the correct detection of the VSWR at the output of your transmitter, that is essential for the proper functioning
of your protection circuit.
