This document provides the homework assignments for 5th grade students from March 14th to March 18th. It includes assignments for reading, math, writing, social studies, and science. In reading, students will practice inferencing skills and bring books to read. The math focus is on fractions with addition, subtraction, multiplication and division topics. Students will study verbs for a test in writing and learn about immigration for social studies, including blog posts and a field trip to Ellis Island. Science assignments are detailed on the teacher's blog. Nightly independent reading is also expected.
