Continuous casting is the process whereby molten
metal is solidified into a "semifinished" round, strip or
shape in a continuous stream for subsequent finishing
in downstream equipment.

Critical Features for Silver & Gold casting:
• Melting & casting in a GRAPHITE CRUCIBLE to deoxidise and avoid contamination
• Secure connection between casting die and crucible to avoid leakage
• Accurate temperature control of liquid metal, especially at the entry to the casting die
• Safe operation & Collection of metal in an external enclosed graphite mould in the event of spillage
• Accurate control of the withdrawal pulling sequence and casting speed to achieve best quality
• Ability to adjust and move the position and orientation of the withdrawal unit to exactly line up with the
casting die
High Quality cast product is the requirement.
Rautomead technology includes the above features to provide the CAPABILITY.
