Continuous casting is the process whereby molten
metal is solidified into a "semifinished" round, strip or
shape in a continuous stream for subsequent finishing
in downstream equipment.

• Melting & casting in a GRAPHITE CRUCIBLE to deoxidise and avoid contamination
• Secure connection between casting die and crucible to avoid leakage
• Accurate temperature control of liquid metal, especially at the entry to the casting die

Note: For fine Silver the retention time to deoxidise the silver should also be
considered when selecting crucible size to output ratio of the machine. Feedstock
type will have an impact on Oxygen Levels.
