Mahlatse Ramothwala was born and raised in a a rural settlement known as Makgakgapatse in Limpopo province. He is the first born of Mr and Mrs Ramothwala. He started his primary education at Phakeng Primary in 2002 and completed his matric at Makhaka Senior secondary school in 2014 with excellent results.He is currently enrolled at university of Johannesburg doing a BEdFET (Bachelor of Education) degree. he is so passionate about his studies. According to Mahlatse, to be an Educator is not about standing in front of the learners preaching the CAPS content, indoctrinating and assessing the learners, is about mediating the content, making it meaningful to the recipients.
