1. SYNOPSIS
Fabrication of Drone
INTRODUCTION:
A Drone, also called a Quad copter, is a multi-rotor
helicopter that is lifted and propelled by four rotors, most
helicopter use two sets of identical fixed pitched propellers: two
clockwise (CW) and two counter-clockwise (CCW).
These use variation of RPM to control lift and torque.
Control of vehicle motion is achieved by altering the rotation
rate of one or more rotor discs, thereby changing its torque
load thrust/lift characteristics by using a micro-controller. A
number of manned designed of Quad copter appeared in the
1920s 1930s.
PRINCIPLE:
Quad copter is a device with an intense mixture of
Electronics. Mechanical & mainly on the principle of aviation
The Quad copter has motors whose speed of rotation and the
direction of the rotation changes according to the users desire
2. to move the device in a particular direction (i.e. Takeoff motion,
landing motion, forward motion, backward motion, left motion,
right motion).
The rotation of motion changes as per the transmitted
signal sends from the 6- channel transmitter. Each rotor
produces both a thrust and torque about its centre of rotation,
as well as a drag force apposite to the vehicle’s direction of
flight.
SCOPE:
Future of a quad-copter is quite vast based on various
application fields it can be applied to. Quad-copter can be used
for conducting rescue operations where it’s humanly impossible
to reach. In terms of its military applications it can be more
widely used for surveillance purposes, without risking a human
life.
As more automated quad-copters are being developed,
there range of applications increases and hence we can ensure
there commercialization. Thus quad-copter can be used in day
to day working of a human life, ensuring their well-being.
