I joined Jindal Stainless Steelway Ltd as Sr. Executive, it was my hard work & continuous
improvements in inward Supply chain Movement with integrity & honesty. I rise up to the
level of Sr. Manager Purchase & Material & Heading all units at corporate level.

Inward Supply Chain Management
 Sustaining existing network & managing supply chain, ensuring timely distribution & Inward deliveries. Monitoring
availability of stock, making appropriate arrangements to ensure on time deliveries.
 Developing long-term partnerships with suppliers; managing day-to-day supplier performance to ensure meeting of
service, cost, delivery and quality norms.
 Using information systems for order management, entire dispatch, documentation, logistics and coordinating status

Distribution targets.
 Formulating packing schedules & inventory control of the various category of packaging material for different variants
and various categories of packed tablets.
Procurement / Purchases
 Formulating and implementing the monthly strategies for purchase of materials as per orders and considering lead
time requirements.
 Coordinating with the stores for monitoring inventories of raw materials and generation of purchase orders for the
various materials required for production.
 Finalizing and executing purchase orders (local and imports), rate contracts in co -ordination with the departments.
Notable Accomplishments
 Since Joining Metafrique in Jan 2012 as Head for Supply Chain Division I had Streamline
Procurement Department from Consumable & Stores operation Now We are 100% on ERP Prior to it
they were not Practicing it instead of complete infrastructure work force was not willing to adapt the
change, We Trained People we change & Guide educate them the importance of Systems now it is
100% on ERP not only stores & inventory as well as our Finished stocks our sales & Finance side.
Now entire reporting system has changed now it is online from Indent to Purchase order creation,
comparison quotation calling everything is online.
 Since joining I am looking after company’s Forward integration requirements in that step, We have
closed Two Tube Mill Deal, Slitting & Cut to length line & Wire Drawing line & Shipped two Furnaces
& Continuous Casting Machine, Carbon Converter Oxygen Plants.
 In last seven years with JSL Headed Material Department from Consumables to Projects
Accomplished Complete Service Center Projects for Mumbai , Chennai & Vadodara from Project
Prospective not only Equipment side but for civil , Consumable ,contract finalization & after
commissioning set up complete supply chain operation from selection of staff for stores , Purchase
& Logistics for Inward & outward movement.
 Prior to my Joining to Jindal Steelway has out sourced it all Packing operation to “ITW LTD” , &
“ITW” was charging 30 to 50% higher rates from the Market in the name of one stop source for all
our packaging needs. I just break that myth & developed an parallel line of vendors and gradually
took everything in our hand , it has benefited us like anything as being an service center for us we
saved approx 30% and now steelway is working on 100% self sustaining model.
 By starting Packing activity we reduced our overall packaging cost by 30%.
 By better negotiations we forced all our suppliers to hold our stock We don’t hold material more
than seven days consumption , rest of the part has to be with vendor this has reduced our our
Inventory holding cost by 50%.
 Earlier there was not clear standard about the quality of material, I started forcing user department
to give clear indication in your requirement, so that supplier can understand and supply us
according. This has reduced supplier rejection ratio by 40% automatically the confidence and break
down time because of inward supply chain is now Nil.
